Our Mission and Vision
Our vision is to be the AEC industry’s most trusted partner for constructability and VDC. Through OPTSTRUCTION, we help owners, design teams and builders turn complex designs into coordinated, buildable documents and models, with predictable cost and schedule outcomes.
Creating Construction Project Success Together
Founded in 2024 and based in Los Angeles, with clients nationwide, David Fields Consulting Services LLC is the company behind OPTSTRUCTION AEC Solutions. Founder David Fields brings more than 16 years as a technical builder with major general contractors and real estate developers.
In 2026 we expanded from constructability review into OPTSTRUCTION VDC, as our team grew to include trade-specific specialists who combine field knowledge with BIM and construction technology expertise. The same specialists also support AI dataset production for AEC technology companies, with more than 8,800 production hours delivered.
