David Fields Consulting Services delivers its core work through OPTSTRUCTION AEC Solutions: constructability reviews and VDC support from a team of trade-specific specialists, led by a licensed General Contractor and delivered nationwide.
For owners and lenders who need an independent lead on the owner side, we also offer targeted project advisory services, along with AEC AI data services for teams building models for construction.
OPTSTRUCTION AEC Solutions
Two service lines. One builder-led team.
Our core work. OPTSTRUCTION combines constructability review and virtual design and construction under one team of trade-specific specialists, led by a licensed General Contractor. Use either service line on its own, or combine them across the project lifecycle, from existing conditions to the final as-built model.

Owner’s and Lender’s Representation
We act as the owner’s technical lead through design and construction, including consultant and contractor selection and oversight. For lenders and financial stakeholders, we provide independent monitoring of progress, schedule, cost and risk.
Feasibility and Preconstruction
We help plan projects from the earliest stages, developing execution plans and helping you select the right design team. We also manage general contractor procurement and support baseline schedules, logistics plans and guaranteed maximum price agreements.
LED Signage Integration and Early Activation
We coordinate LED design-build teams with base building design teams to provide the power, structure and redundancy signage systems need over their full life cycle. We also guide teams through Los Angeles high-rise early activation to shorten time to revenue.
International Procurement Monitoring
We perform pre-award due diligence on overseas manufacturing facilities and monitor production progress for globally sourced materials. Risks are identified early, progress is validated, and materials are confirmed to meet quality standards before they ship.
AEC AI DATA SERVICES
We support the development, training and validation of AI systems for the AEC industry, combining construction-domain expertise with scalable data operations.
